Clash Against Commercialism canceled

Clash Against Commercialism, set to happen on April 6th in NYC has been canceled.  From their myspace:

NEW YORK, NY (March 28, 2008) – For reasons beyond their control, rock fest Clash Against Commercialism set for April 6, 2008 at New York City’s Nokia Theatre Times Square has been cancelled. A delay in securing visas for members of the featured Japanese bands, combined with scheduling conflicts, has promoters unable to reconfirm a new date as of today. Organizers would like to thank all those who helped build the event, as well as all the fans who purchased tickets. Refunds will be available at point of purchase.

Wow.  That bites.  Seriously.  I hope at some point that they’re able to reschedule it!
